Schoology Portfolios - Showcasing Student and Instructor Work (Workshop, 75 min)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Saving and showcasing student work. It’s over here, it’s over there, but is it ever in one place? Schoology Portfolios provide a single location for students to save and highlight their best work, show progress from year to year, and even create their capstone project for college admission or entry into the workforce.

As educators, our lives revolve around our students: planning, grading, counseling, mentoring; but we also need to save and highlight our own achievements. Coursework and projects are necessary to complete continuing education requirements. Utilize Schoology Portfolios to showcase professional accomplishments and share as evidence during the recertification process.

During this hands-on session you will create your own portfolio and share it with other session attendees, as well as discuss different ideas for portfolio use in your classroom and professional life.

Session Objectives:
1) Discuss the benefits of using Portfolios in education.
2) Create, edit, and share Portfolios in Schoology.
3) Develop a plan for using Schoology Portfolios in the upcoming academic year.
