Managing Change and Expanding Collaboration (Lecture, 45 min)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Defining a vision and establishing goals for systemic change is critical for success. Most of the time, however, this only happens at the top tier of an organization with an expectation that other stakeholders will “catch on” or “get training” as implementation occurs. As our district discovered, a better approach is to begin with specific change management training for a variety of leaders before an implementation takes place. We will also discuss how important collaboration is to sustaining project success and offer suggestions for both internal and external structures that strengthen the process.

Session Objectives:
Attendees will come away from this session with 1) A structure for training leaders in change management 2) Ideas for both internal and external ways to collaborate to better support change 3) Tips for effectively managing a large scale Schoology adoption
